Points Collection

  1. Card holders of credit cards issued by the Bank of China (Thai) Public Company Limited(hereinafter referred to as the “Bank”) are eligible to receive 1 point for every 5 baht spent using Gold and Classic cards; and 2 points for every 5 baht spent using a Platinum card. Points will be accumulated in the account automatically and appeared in credit card billing statement every month.

    For card holders of 2-currency Union Pay credit cards, every 1 Chinese RMB spent earns 1 point on Gold and Classic cards, and 2 points on Platinum cards. Points will be accumulated and be included in the monthly credit card billing statement.

    Card holders who apply the Installment Plan for spending on goods or services earn 1 additional point for every 5 baht on the payment plan.
  2. Points are calculated from each card holder’s spending on goods/services domestically or abroad. However, the merchant providing the goods/services must fall under the terms and conditions determined by the Banks (reference to the terms of Merchant Category Code “MCC” of the MasterCard, or UnionPay system). The point collection is with the exception of cash advances; all fees and penalties; interest charged on card balances; purchase of investment funds/LTF/RMF; and purchase cancellations and returns.
  3. Points will be automatically calculated each month according to that month’s transactions. Point balances will be updated on monthly credit card billing statements that are sent in accordance with the card holder’s billing cycle.

    For card holders of Gold and Classic cards, earned points will be valid for 2 years from the end of the point collection period of the year (the time period of point collection during the year runs from 1 July to June 30 the following year).
    For example, all points earned during 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012 will expire on June 30, 2014; and all points earned during 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2013 will expire on June 30, 2015.

    For Platinum cards, points have no expiration date.
  4. The calculation of points from supplementary cards will be shown in the credit card billing statement of each supplementary card.
  5. Card holders of primary cards can add their points to those earned from all their supplementary cards in order to redeem rewards.

    The rights to redeem points for rewards apply to the primary card holder only, and reward points must be redeemed at least 30 days before the points’ expiration date (in the event of cancellation of the card by the card holder, card holders have the right to redeem rewards before card cancellation; otherwise all points will be canceled immediately with the card, and will not be transferable nor in exchange for cash or other rights).
  6. New card holders will automatically be enrolled in the “365 Joyful Rewards” program.
  7. The “365 Joyful Rewards” program only applies to those holding credit cards issued by the Bank of China (Thai) Public Company Limited.

Reward Redemption

  1. Card  holders can redeem rewards for free by using points required by each particular reward item
  2. Card  holders can redeem rewards from the Bank through 2 channels, namely:

    (1) By mail the redemption form to the Bank address:

    (2) Via fax at 0-2286 0520.

    Reward redemption form is downloadable at www.bankofchina.co.th.  Card holders must complete the form and send it to the Bank

    Reward redemption forms are only valid once the Bank has received all accurate and complete information, and has approved the form.
  3. Redemption of rewards from the “365 Joyful Rewards” program is valid until 31 December 2022 (the Bank will notify card holders in advance of periodic changes to the program via communication method the Bank deems most appropriate).
  4. The Bank reserves the rights to accept redemption of rewards made by card holders whose status remains valid on the date reward redemption is requested, and without overdue of the payment of the outstanding balance.

Delivery of Rewards

  1. For redemption of cash rewards, the Bank will credit the appropriate cash amount to the cardholder’s credit card account within 7 working days from the date the request is approved.
  2. For redemption of gifts, the service provider will arrange to send the gift to the address on the credit card billing statement, or to the shipping address specified in the reward redemption form. Such service is restricted to requests of delivery within the country only. The delivery of the gift will be within 15 days from the date the reward redemption form has been received and approved by the Bank. An exception to the delivery timeframe applies to the case where requested gifts are out of stock or in the manufacturing process.

    When receiving the gift each time, please check that the condition of the gift is not broken or damaged in any way before signing the delivery acknowledgement of the gift. The Bank reserves the right to not replace, refund, or compensate for any gifts where the delivery acknowledgement has been signed. In the case of any dispute as to condition, defects, or errors regarding the gift, card holders should contact the service provider directly.

 

Terms and Conditions

  1. In the case where the gift or gifts are out of stock or discontinued by the manufacturer / service provider / supplier of the gift, the Bank reserves the right to change or substitute the gift with that of a similar quality and price, without prior notification.
  2. Rewards values already include VAT.
  3. Once the redemption has been made, the point redemption cannot be cancelled, amended nor exchangeable for cash for any circumstance
  4. The Bank is not involved in sales or service. In the case the goods / services provided to the card holder is defective, damaged, or faulty in any way, the card holder should contact the vendor/service provider directly at the name and phone number listed in the reward catalogue of “365 Joyful Rewards.”
  5. Card holders agree and consent to the disclosure of card holders’ information to representatives of the Bank, branches of the Bank, subsidiary companies, service providers of this program and/or related parties only.
  6. Upon withdrawal or cancellation of a credit card, points and the right to redeem points will be void immediately; points cannot be transferred nor in exchange for cash or other rewards.
  7. The Bank reserves the right to change, alter, or terminate the list of rewards, the redemption period, and other details, including accumulation of points and point expiration dates, at any time without notice.
  8. In the case of any disagreement/dispute, the Bank's decision is resolute and final.
